This multifunctional campus includes 5000 square meters for prevention, diagnosis, therapy, monitoring, research, innovation, and accommodation for the child's family undergoing therapy.
The campus has been designed for the family around the child to provide emotional support which is often neglected in Romania.

Our story
The project came to life as a response to the need identified in Romania by the family of teachers, Iulia and Sebastian Onac, after multiple hospitalizations in the country and abroad with their little girl Maria Beatrice, born prematurely and suffering from conditions associated with prematurity.

În România, în ultimi 4 ani ponderea nașterilor premature s-a dublat, astfel că la acest moment aproape 2 copii din 10 se nasc prematur. O mare parte dintre acești copii au nevoie de intervenție timpurie încă din primele luni de viață tocmai pentru a recupera ceea ce nu au dobândit pe parcursul sarcinii.
Case
The causes are multiple, starting from the evolution of medical science - a two-way highway, pollution, stress, the pace of everyday life and an unhealthy lifestyle to aspects of non-functionality, which are perpetuated in the Romanian medical system.
Solution
Asociația Maria Beatrice, construim din donații și sponsorizări, Primul Campus Medical din România, dedicat Copilului nou-născut Prematur, Prevenției și Intervenției timpurii pentru 2000 de copii, la o nevoie reală identificată de peste 6-7000, anual, răspunzând astfel la mai mult de 30% din nevoia identificată la nivel național, un Proiect relevant pentru România.

The founders are the parents of Maria Beatrice, in this situation, and we are involved in everything that means staff training, monitoring, development and especially in cultivating the relationship with the Family.
In fact, the patient is the whole Family, the concept being that of Integrated Multidisciplinary Therapy with common Objectives for all the Areas of intervention, in which the Family is considered as a whole around the Child, precisely because the parent participates in the medical act, understands the whole therapeutic process, the transformations and the recovery potential, being our partner.

Throughout the therapy sessions, the child’s schedule seeks to take into account the hours of sleep, feeding and the general dynamics of the child during the day, precisely to optimize the degree of absorption of the therapy.
The well-being and comfort of the family with the child, concerns us starting with the first day of activity in the Center precisely because the therapy “takes hold” when the mother is calm and the child is happy!
All this is happening at the Maria Beatrice Association, which has been operating for 14 years and has a team with expertise in the field of medical recovery for young children with complex cases from all over the country.
